**Reiki Explained: Reiki is a Japanese healing practice that involves the transfer of energy through the hands to promote relaxation, stress reduction, and healing. The word "Reiki" comes from two Japanese words: "Rei," meaning universal, and "Ki," meaning life force energy. Essentially, Reiki is about channeling this universal energy to support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. People often report feelings of peace, calm, and mental clarity after a session. I am a Karuna Reiki Master and have the ability to channel this energy to others without being in their presence.
Mindful Collage: Creativity as a Path to Awareness
April 27 from 12 noon-2 pm
Come explore how mindfulness and creativity can work together to enhance your well-being and improve your ability to stay present and engaged in everyday life. You'll create three unique collages, each designed to encourage reflection and engagement with different mindful concepts. This simple, relaxing art form serves as both a fun and meaningful process, helping you tap into your creativity and experience the benefits of mindfulness such as increased presence and focus in a tangible, hands-on way. By the end of the class, you'll leave with collages and also a deeper understanding of how creativity can serve as a powerful path to self-awareness. Art experience is not required. All materials are provided.

Join together with others for a create and meditate practice based on the first video from my free course, “Your Meditative Art Map.” You can sign up for the entire course here which is delivered via email and done at your own convenience.
We’ll be drawing and collaging circles as a way to explore how the simple act of creating circular patterns can help us cultivate a deep sense of mindfulness and tranquility. As you work with circles, you’ll learn to quiet the mind, center your thoughts, and embrace a meditative flow, helping you develop greater mental clarity, balance, and emotional peace. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a beginner, this class provides a non-judgmental space for creativity and mindfulness to merge. All supplies provided. Prior art experience is not required only a desire to learn a mindful approach through creativity.
